The Best Diets To Do

There are all kinds of diets that can help you lose weight quickly. The question is are they healthy?  Do we still go wrong and eat fatty foods and sugary cakes after losing weight?  Here are three weight loss programs that can work for anyone.

Weight Watchers

This is based on food points and meetings with a Counsellor, who helps you along by weighing you and giving advice. You can eat anything from the list of foods they give you and if you don‘t go over on your points, then you will shed pounds.  With this diet there are lots of foods you can eat.  So, if you think that this is the one for you, then look it up on the internet for more information www.weightwatchers.co.uk You can start it online by joining them or buying some of their products or their magazine.

The South Beach Diet

With this program you have to eat low carbohydrate foods for two weeks, which consists of fish, low fat cheese, eggs, skinless chicken,  green vegetables and salad.  Fruit, tea or coffee with milk, fatty foods and sugary foods are not allowed.  After two weeks you can add fruit, such as apples.  This is mainly based on good carbohydrates.  Not an easy diet to do, but it is a way of getting rid of weight quickly.  There are plenty of books out in the shops for this one or check out the web page: www.southbeach-diet-plan.com

The Cambridge Diet myLot User Profile

This is a good one.  Within two weeks you will see the difference.  Do you need to lose three or four stone?  If so, then the Cambridge Diet is for you.

Three meals a day for the first two weeks using Cambridge’s own food is the first step.  This is combined with milk shakes, soups and biscuit bars later in the diet.  The first two weeks consists of – 1 shake in the morning, for lunch a soup or shake and dinner a soup.  These meals have all the vitamins and food that a person needs, so the diet is completely safe to do.  You don’t feel hungry after being on it for at least a week.  This way of dieting has been around for many years and it has been approved by Doctors.

It really does work. The only side effects are headaches and tiredness, but this only happens on the second and third day. This means that the diet is working, as all the toxins in your body are flushing out of your system. You have to drink 3 litres of water a day (10 glasses), as you do with all other diets and this will help to stop the hunger.  If you cannot bare it, then you can prepare yourself for a few days before by eating some salad and/or vegetables, skinless chicken or both for an evening meal.  Do this for two days and then gradually cut down by just having a salad on the third day.  Do not put salad dressing or oil on your food, only vinegar is allowed and no salt.  Do not have any alcohol whilst on this either.  After the fourth day it will be fine to eat the meals without solid food, so you can loose more weight.  Doing this prepares you for the two weeks of soul source eating.

Also, black coffee or tea with no milk or sugar only sweetener tablets are allowed.

After two weeks you will add small amounts of food, such as salad, vegetables, chicken or white fish.

Learn to be Healthy

There are many ways that you can help yourself to be healthy.  Here are ten ideas that can benefit your life style.

- Instead of getting into a lift, you should use the stairs as often as possible.  This will help you burn fat and be fit.  If done on a regular basis, your body will become more fit, as it becomes more accustomed to movement.

- Drink at least three litres of water a day.  This will help to get rid of any excess fluid retention.  It will, also, curb hunger, and can help you not to be hungry more often, especially for cravings of sugary foods.  Water drinking can, also, stop dehydration and can help the skin to be clearer with a better complexion.
- For short distance journeys do not drive, walk.  Walking will stimulate your lungs and help them to be more stronger.
- Give up smoking if you can, because in the long run it will give your lungs more breathing space.  It will, also, benefit your skin making it feel and look more healthier.
- Limit your alcohol intake.  Try not to have too much too often.  Only have a drink when you go out to socialize, but do not over do it regularly.  Alcohol can ware the body down by making you dehydrated and it will give you bad skin.  If alcohol is taken on a regular basis, it can become an addiction.  So, be careful!
- Eat more healthy foods such as salads, fruit, fish and chicken.  Try not to eat fatty and sugary products too often.  Cut down on fast foods and try to eat more of fresh meats and rice.
- Every morning, as soon as you wake up, get into a routine of stretching.  Stretch your arms out above your head and to the sides, bend down and touch your toes and then stretch the whole body whilst lying on the bed.  This will make your circulation flow more easily and freely.  It will give the body a boost early in the morning too, helping you to wake up.
- Drink herbal tea instead of coffee or tea, as this can deplete the body and make you dehydrated.  Herbal teas can be bought in many different flavors and types.  Drinking this will enhance your health and it’s a good fluid intake.
- Another way to help your health would be to take up a sport or exercise.  Perhaps, you could join a gym or join a football team for example.  For the women take up a yoga class or aerobics.  Doing this twice a week will help you to keep in trim and give you more vitality and fitness.
- Also, to keep the mind in activity mode everyone should take up some kind of hobby to stimulate the brain more.  This is especially good for retired people, because it’s good to keep active.  Learn an instrument, go to art classes, writing classes or take up computer lessons.  Anything will do, as long as it will make you use your brain to keep it active and it’s a good form of socializing too.  This can help anyone, even mothers of young children, as it will give something to look forward to, especially if you’re a full time mother who does not work.

3. From Icmeler you can take a trip to Rhodes, the greek island, which only takes an hour to get to. Enjoy a whole day in another country. Take the boat up to Marmaris, then another to Rhodes.

4. Jeep Safari – A jeep safari into the wilderness and the nearby villages can be a fascinating adventure. Untouched forests and bays along the way with regular swimming stops, experience the sights outside of Icmeler and Marmaris. This takes you around the countryside and mountains near Icmeler. See places you would not be able to get to by car. The trip takes tourists to places like Kizkuma Beach in Orhaniye Village where there is a legend about walking on water.

5. Experience a Turkish night with lots of traditional Turkish food and dancing. There are many around Icmeler and Marmaris that you can find or book one with your holiday advisor representative, such as, Thomson Holidays.

6. Go and see the Stella Show, which is a one man drag show with a twist at the end of it. Amazing singing with a funny and entertaining laugh all the way through it. This guy dresses up and impersonates women stars, such as, Sher, Shirley Bassey, Tina Turner and more. You can ask anyone and they will direct you to this restaurant where the show takes place in Icmeler.

7. Visit one of the many restaurants in Icmeler where you will see entertainment, such as, look a likes like Michael Jackson, Elvis and Tina Turner shows. Some nights there maybe a Robot show or a Belly dancer show. Sometimes the waiters will put on their own dancing show too, which is a great laugh. A great night out for anyone.

8. Take the taxi boat trip to Marmaris from Icmeler beach. It is a scenic way of getting to Marmaris and only costs seven Turkish lira.

9. Take advantage of the free blanket trip. This is a free coach excursion that will take you to a blanket trip presentation and then by coach to Kizkuma Beach in Orhaniye village where you can learn about the legend of walking on water. Then they take everyone to Bozburn village where you can explore and walk along the harbor or have something to eat at one of the restaurants there. A great trip and you do not have to pay for it!

10. Go on a boat cruise for the day with food included. This will take you out into the ocean for swimming stops too. See the beautiful scenery and visit a village along the way. You can find many places in Icmeler that will sell tickets for many boat trips and they are very cheap!

11. Visit the dolphin park in Marmaris next to the Maris Hotel. You can either swim with them or just go there to watch the dolphins. An amazing experience!

12. Visit the water park and enjoy the many rides or just relax on a float.
